Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Driver Patrol in Framingham, MA. The role offers flexible fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform, aiming to provide income stability and potential full-time progression.

Pay rate is $21.85 per hour. Minimum requirements include security experience, a valid driver's license, and high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to controlled areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required logs, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol in Framingham, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
