Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Patrol Vehicle Driver / Screening Specialist in Topton, PA. You will provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures and emergency response.

This role offers fixed shifts, the ability to pick up extra shifts, and potential for additional hours up to 40 per week. A valid driver’s license, one year of security experience, and comfort using a computer or tablet are

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing location by verifying credentials, maintaining logs, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, access concerns, and policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

As a Part Time Security Officer Patrol Vehicle Driver / Screening Specialist in a Manufacturing , Distribution Center in Topton, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM

1. Security Experience:

   • Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant security experience (C115). This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle security‑related tasks and responsibilities effectively.

2. Valid Driver's License:

   • Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located (C124). This requirement is essential for positions that involve travel or transportation as part of the job duties.

3. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet:

   • Candidates should be proficient in using a computer or tablet (B204). Familiarity with basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms is crucial for job performance.

4. Customer Service Experience:

   • A background in customer service is required (B219). Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
