Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors and employees at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access at designated entry points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, issue credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access‑related logs.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle, delivery, and employee traffic in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production‑area perimeters, parking areas, and surrounding property to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Scheduling in Breinigsville, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

1. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for various tasks, including but not limited to:

   • Sending and receiving emails
   • Utilizing software applications relevant to the position
   • Navigating online platforms for communication and collaboration

   Expectations:

   • Candidates may be required to complete a basic computer skills assessment during the interview process.
   • Familiarity with email etiquette, including proper formatting, tone, and response time, is essential.

2. Customer Service Experience (B219) Candidates should possess prior customer service experience, which is crucial for roles that involve direct interaction with clients or customers. This experience should include:

   • Handling customer inquiries and complaints
   • Providing information and support to customers
   • Demonstrating effective communication skills

   Expectations:

   • Candidates will be asked to provide examples of past customer service experiences during interviews.
   • Emphasis will be placed on the ability to maintain professionalism and empathy in all communications.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
