Job summary

ProMedica Shared Services, LLC is seeking a part-time Security Officer for the Steam Plant - HQ location in Downtown Toledo. The role focuses on maintaining safety, guiding visitors, and monitoring facilities during night shifts.

Responsibilities include traffic and parking control, incident investigation, and restraining individuals when necessary. Successful candidates will complete required training and hold a valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to complete Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six months of employment.
• Prior security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facilities and ensure safety of patients, visitors, and employees.
• Regulate and control all traffic and parking as needed.
• Conduct traffic control and safety measures as required.
• Investigate and report accidents, hazards and incidents.
• Restrain combative individuals as necessary and safe.

While monitoring facilities, the officers also help people who have questions about where they should go.In this vital safety role, you will regulate and control all traffic, parking enforcement and traffic control when needed. You will investigate and report all accidents, hazards, and incidents.
