Job summary

ProMedica Security Officers ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and staff at our Toledo location. You will monitor facilities, assist with directions, and regulate traffic and parking as required. The role includes investigating incidents and restraining combative individuals when necessary.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record as demonstrated by MVR.
• Complete the Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six months of employment.
• Preferred: Associate degree in security or related field.
• Prior security experience.

While monitoring facilities, the officers also help people who have questions about where they should go.In this vital safety role, you will regulate and control all traffic, parking enforcement and traffic control when needed. You will investigate and report all accidents, hazards, and incidents. The officer will need to restrain combative patients as needed.Once in this position, you must successfully complete all required training and remain current in any certifications.The above summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
