Job summary

ProMedica Flower Hospital Security Officers ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and employees. While monitoring facilities, the officers also help people who have questions about where they should go.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
• Complete Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and staff while monitoring facilities.
• Regulate traffic, enforce parking, and manage traffic control when needed.
• Investigate and report accidents, hazards, and incidents; restrain combative individuals as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Valid drivers license in the state in which you will work and a clean driving record, as demonstrated by an MVR in order to be covered under the Company’s insurance policy.

• Complete the Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six (6) months of employment.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Associate degree in security or related field.

• Prior security experience.
