## The DoubleTree by Hilton Cedar Rapids Convention Complex is a chic downtown hotel attached to the Alliant Energy Powerhouse Arena and Convention Center, just 2 blocks from Cedar River. We are now seeking highly motivated individuals with a heart for service and attention to detail to join our Security and Loss Prevention team!

Position Details:

Shift: 3pm to 11:30pm

Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour, with Paid Time Off (PTO) and Team Member and Family Travel Program Benefits!

What will I be doing?

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members, as well as the security of the hotel and property. Your duties include:

1. Patrolling the interior and perimeter of the hotel and property to observe and identify potential safety and security risks.
2. Responding to emergency situations such as safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life and/or property.
3. Promoting safe work practices.
4. Initiating preliminary investigations into incidents as needed.
5. Writing reports and ensuring the accuracy of necessary documentation.
6. Responding to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a friendly and efficient manner.
