The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cedar Rapids Convention Complex is a chic downtown hotel attached to the Alliant Energy PowerHouse, just 2 blocks from the Cedar River.

We are looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our team! Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with Paid Time Off (PTO), Health & Welfare benefits, and a Team Member and Family Travel Program!

What will I be doing?

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will assist management in directing and administering the restaurant to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising, supporting, scheduling, assigning daily work, informing, and training team members in all restaurant activities and operations.
  • Monitoring, observing, and assisting in evaluating team member performance.
  • Supporting team members in handling guest inquiries, requests, and resolving complaints.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Managing product quality, service, satisfaction trends, addressing issues, and making improvements.
  • Monitoring inventory and inventory control.
