Security Officer - DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cedar Rapids Convention Complex (Finance)

The DoubleTree by Hilton Cedar Rapids Convention Complex is a chic downtown hotel attached to the Alliant Energy Powerhouse Arena and Convention Center, located just 2 blocks from Cedar River. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion for service and attention to detail to join our Security and Loss Prevention team!

This position works from 3pm to 11:30pm. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, with Paid Time Off (PTO) and Team Member and Family Travel Program Benefits. APPLY NOW! (It only takes a couple of minutes using your phone).

What will I be doing?

As a Security Officer, your responsibilities include ensuring the safety of guests and team members, and securing the hotel and property. Your duties will include:

• Patrolling the interior and perimeter of the hotel to identify safety and security risks
• Responding to emergency situations such as safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies, and threats to life or property
• Promoting safe work practices
• Initiating preliminary investigations into incidents
• Writing reports and maintaining accurate documentation
• Responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly and courteously
