Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver in Tracy, CA to provide customer service, conduct routine patrols, and deter incidents at a retail location. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers, associates, and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate store management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, monitor designated areas, and complete required incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
