Allied Universal in Commerce City, CO, seeks a part‑time Security Officer – Enhanced for a fixed weekend night shift at a distribution center. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to facilities, yards, gates, and restricted areas by verifying credentials, reviewing visitor and contractor authorizations, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian activity; report unusual conditions, access issues, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, loading zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations; document observations and complete required reports.

As a Security Officer Distribution Center in Commerce City, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
