Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site‑specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location and verify credentials.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare reports of incidents and patrol activities maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced setting.

As a Security Officer Distribution Facilityin Henderson, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

DayTimeSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location by observing personnel, visitors, and vehicle activity; verify credentials and follow established entry and delivery procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and other security‑related observations while maintaining a professional presence in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
