Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Henderson, CO. This role offers a fixed weekly shift with the option to pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, providing reliable hours and the chance to increase earnings.

You will perform security procedures, monitor access, respond to incidents, and patrol the facility to deter misconduct and ensure safety for employees, visitors, and drivers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• 21+ for armed roles; 18+ for unarmed roles.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

As a Security Officer Logistics Center in Henderson, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

$20.49 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
