Job Description

As a Security Officer Part Time Dispatch Driver in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a utilities location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, support access control, and respond to security-related needs. You will help maintain an organized environment through clear communication, professional customer service, and teamwork. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture while acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Monitor communication systems, alarm activity, access-related systems, and site conditions; maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and dispatch records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating timely information to site leadership and relevant responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
