Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Dispatch Driver in Sparks, NV. The role involves coordinating security communications, responding to incidents, and maintaining logs while providing strong customer service at a utilities site.

The schedule is DayTime Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM and Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM. A valid driver’s license is required, with lifting up to 20 pounds and familiarity with computers preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, communications systems, and dispatch channels; document and relay routine and urgent information to appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, dispatch records, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter as assigned, reporting observed hazards, unusual activity, and security-related concerns.
