Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Dispatch Driving position in Wichita, Kansas. You will coordinate communications, monitor alarms, and provide exceptional customer service at an aerospace/defense location.

• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate details to supervisors.
• Coordinate routine and random patrol assignments; report hazards and unusual activity.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 02:45 PM - 10:45 PM
• Sat 02:45 PM - 10:45 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor incoming calls, radio traffic, alarms, and dispatch systems; prioritize requests and relay information to appropriate personnel and responders.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and activity reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating timely details to supervisors and relevant personnel.
• Coordinate routine and random patrol assignments around the facility and perimeter, and report observed hazards, access concerns, and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
