Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Dispatch Coordination Driver for a part-time role in Freeport, TX. You will monitor security systems, dispatch responses, and support field officers at a chemical/petrochemical site.

The schedule includes Wed 06:00 AM–06:00 PM and Sat 06:00 PM–06:00 AM, with a pay rate of $21.63 per hour. Ideal candidates have a valid driver's license, at least one year of security experience, and a TSA TWIC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in the placement state.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific security procedures and dispatch protocols.
• Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch routine and urgent calls to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor communications systems, alarms, cameras, and access activity; maintain logs and shift reports.
• Respond calmly to incidents following escalation procedures.
• Coordinate with site personnel and responding agencies during emergencies.

Pay Rate: $21.63 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, dispatch protocols, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch routine and urgent calls for service to appropriate personnel, emergency responders, and site resources.
• Monitor communications systems, alarms, cameras, and access-related activity; maintain accurate incident logs, dispatch records, and shift reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Coordinate with site personnel and responding agencies during emergencies, outages, hazardous-material-related events, and other operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
