Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Licensed Patrol Driver in Texas City, TX. You will protect clients across industries, conduct routine unarmed patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents. Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $16.77 / Hour. Schedule: DayTime shifts, Mon–Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM. You will verify credentials, respond to incidents, and document activities.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Licensed Patrol Driver in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical facility.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, process areas, parking areas, gates, and perimeter boundaries to help identify and report unusual conditions, hazards, or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for personnel, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site policies and applicable entry requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations promptly to site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, access-related observations, and other assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
