Allied Universal in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a part-time Security Officer Dispatch Communications to support a financial institution location. You will coordinate communications, monitor access control, and dispatch resources as needed, while maintaining detailed logs and delivering strong customer service.

The role offers flexible day schedules and opportunities to grow within Allied Universal's agile security team. A background check and drug screen may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security experience.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen may be required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

You will maintain clear documentation, provide exceptional customer service, and serve as a critical point of contact during routine and urgent situations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, access-control notifications, and other communications; dispatch appropriate personnel and/or resources in accordance with site procedures.
• Document incidents, service requests, and critical situations accurately, maintaining detailed dispatch logs and communicating updates to appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Monitor facility activity through available systems and report unusual conditions, helping to deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
