Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Readiness in Dallas, TX. You will patrol campus facilities, deter unauthorized activity, and provide friendly, professional service to students, staff, and visitors.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Readiness in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with campus personnel and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and activity throughout assigned areas, report suspicious behavior, and document incidents according to site-specific procedures.
• Maintain professional firearm handling practices and comply with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal armed post procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
