As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Manchester, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy retail location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.55 / Hour

Qualifications

• 21+ Years of Age (C101) Candidates must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application. This requirement is in place to comply with legal regulations and company policies.
• Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124) Candidates must possess a valid driver's license issued in the state where the job is located. This is essential for roles that require driving as part of the job responsibilities.
• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201) Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This experience is crucial for positions that involve security protocols and access management within the company.

• Wed: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Thur: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sat: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, vendors, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain visitor and contractor logs, issue access credentials as authorized, and report access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
