As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Reception Operations in Malvern, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

3.1 Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)

• Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with access control systems and badge management. This includes understanding how to use identification badges for secure entry into company premises.

3.2 Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)

• Candidates should possess basic computer or tablet skills. This includes proficiency in using standard software applications, navigating the internet, and utilizing company-specific software as required.

3.3 Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123)

• Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license. This is essential for roles that require travel or transportation as part of job responsibilities. Candidates should be prepared to provide documentation verifying their driver’s license status.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk of a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access to the facility, receive and route calls or deliveries, and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Maintain a professional front‑desk presence while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a welcoming environment for authorized guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
