Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in Reno, NV. You will protect clients across Retail/Malls and entertainment venues, conduct patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents while assisting guests with professionalism.

You will monitor entrances, respond to incidents, and help guests during busy periods and events. The role emphasizes service, safety, and community trust.

Qualifications

• Possess a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the entertainment venue, including bowling areas, arcade spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly guest experience by providing directions, answering questions, and supporting location procedures during busy periods and special events.

Pay Rate: $22.15 / Hour

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a guard card or license is preferred.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
