As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Winnemucca, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with visitors and personnel. You will respond to concerns, report observations, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 07:15 AM - 05:15 PM
• Tue 07:15 AM - 05:15 PM
• Wed 07:15 AM - 05:15 PM
• Thur 07:15 AM - 05:15 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas; document observations and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures for authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate security-related concerns, incidents, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
