Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local regulations.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities and perimeter locations to identify concerns.

Security Officer - Licensed Patrol Driver in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while responding to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

• Wed: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology and aerospace facilities, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Support security‑related operations by completing detailed activity reports, following post orders, and communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
