Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Officer to patrol and protect the Wilmington, MA site. You will deliver exceptional customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors, while enforcing site policies and responding to emergencies.

Responsibilities include routine patrols, access control, incident reporting, and clear communication with site leadership. Relevant experience in security, badge management, and loss prevention is preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Loss prevention exposure is a plus.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; report access control issues and suspicious activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Wilmington, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience preferred.
• Loss Prevention preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
