Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Officer for a full-time role in Wilmington, MA. You will protect a technology-focused campus, perform patrols, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and candidates must pass background checks and drug screening. Shifts include Daytime and in the afternoon/evening slots.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Asset Protection in Wilmington, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control processes, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while contributing to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $20.32 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access activity and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures; assist with visitor management and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and support a professional environment for a technology operations location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
