Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Assistant in Boston, MA. You will monitor the retail location, provide exceptional customer service, and deter incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

The role requires access control, badge experience, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents. Position is full-time with a daytime schedule and hourly pay rate of $19.00. Compliance with background checks and drug screening is required.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Assistance in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including customer areas, entrances, loading areas, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site-specific procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
