Qualifications

• Background check and drug screening will be conducted as required by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Care Patrol in Burlington, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will respond to alarms and other security-related concerns, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured conditions, and/or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help support authorized access to restricted areas.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
