Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Patrol Customer Care to protect clients in Sparks, NV. You will perform security procedures, patrol facilities, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

This is a flexible, part-time role that allows you to build a schedule while gaining experience with our technology platforms, post orders, and escalation processes. Eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or personnel at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the data center campus, buildings, access points, perimeter, and parking areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, complete required logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
