Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, invites you to join as a Part-Time Security Officer in Carson City, NV. You will protect clients across diverse industries, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence on site.

This role offers flexible scheduling with shifts posted on our Claim a Shift platform. You will perform access control, monitor entrances, and respond to alerts while following site-specific

Qualifications

• Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
• Guard Card/License - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology-focused facilities and entrances.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery activity per site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions, and relay information to supervision and site contacts.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.98 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 04:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology-focused facilities, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:
