Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Verification in Albuquerque, NM. You will monitor access points, verify credentials, conduct patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering professional customer service at a technology and media location.

This role offers full-time hours with a $21.00 per hour pay rate, requiring a high school diploma or equivalent and basic security experience; CPR/First Aid and valid licenses are preferred where required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• State/city security license is preferred.
• CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, guests, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document access activity to support security operations.
• Respond to incidents and escalation needs in a calm, problem-solving manner, following proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, focusing on doors, gates, loading areas, and parking areas.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding unusual activity or policy questions.
