Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Communications in Albuquerque, NM. In this unarmed patrol role you will provide customer service, conduct patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

You will monitor access, respond to alarms, and document observations. The position offers full-time hours with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends; guard card/licensing may be required and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, access-related concerns, and shift communications.
