Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Lifecycle in Gardner, KS. You will monitor access points, verify credentials, issue badges, and conduct routine patrols to deter incidents at a manufacturing/industrial site.

You will deliver customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a secure, welcoming environment. This full‑time role requires compliance with site procedures, background checks, and a drug screen; CPR/First Aid certification and a HS

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures and access policies.
• Monitor access control systems, verify credentials, and issue visitor/contractor badges.
• Control entry and exit points for personnel, vehicles, materials, and deliveries per site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate appropriately.
• Conduct regular patrols of facility access points, business areas, and perimeter to identify unauthorized activity.

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, manage visitor and employee access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access control systems, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor badges, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control entry and exit points for personnel, vehicles, materials, and deliveries in accordance with established site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
