Job summary

Allied Universal in Warren, OH seeks a Security Officer Access Operations to protect facilities and people. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitors, and provide attentive customer service in a manufacturing and industrial setting.

This full-time role includes patrols, alarm responses, and coordinating with site contacts. Minimum requirements: age 18+, high school diploma, background check, drug screen, and licensing as required; a valid driver’s license for driving

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and issue or retrieve access badges in accordance with site requirements.
• Control access & exit of vehicles, personnel, and materials as directed, including coordinating with receiving, shipping, and site contacts regarding deliveries and pickups.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Pay Rate: $17.66 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:
