Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Credential Check in Lansing, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, assisting visitors, and communicating clearly with staff and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the healthcare location by verifying identification, screening visitors and contractors, issuing credentials, and maintaining visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communication systems; report access concerns, unusual activity, and equipment issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify potential security‑related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
