Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor records, and control access to restricted areas per location procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unauthorized access and security-related concerns.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, supporting visitor management processes, and reporting maintenance or security-related issues to site contacts.

What You'll Do:
