Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is hiring for a Security Officer Entry Screening in Lansing, MI. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, assist visitors, and maintain a welcoming, secure environment in a healthcare-related location.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen (to the extent permitted by law).
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Manage access control points by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery access per site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, maintain access logs, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner per site protocols and communicate with leadership or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.

What You'll Do:
