Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with healthcare location personnel, visitors, and emergency responders while following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Lansing, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, assisting visitors, and responding to security-related concerns. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide professional communication and customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license.
