Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Authentication in Gretna, NE. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and assist with secure operations at a distribution location.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local regulations.
• Valid driver's license if driving responsibilities are present.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures.
• Monitor entrances, verify credentials, maintain logs, deter unauthorized entry at the site.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular/ random patrols of access points, docks, parking, and perimeter; report concerns.
• Complete reports and documentation related to access activity, incidents and policy violations.

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help to deter unauthorized entry to the distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, dock areas, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter, while reporting observed security-related concerns.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to access activity, incidents, inspections, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
