Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Courthouse Patrol in Riverside, CA to safeguard clients across government and other facilities. You will patrol assigned areas, maintain visibility, and deliver professional customer service while upholding the company values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

The role is full-time with an hourly pay rate of $17.75, and a daytime schedule Monday through Friday with rotating shifts.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Courthouse Patrol in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government court services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to routine concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, attorneys, and other members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned court facilities, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and screen or direct visitors in accordance with established procedures, maintaining professional interactions in a government court environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and maintain communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
