Allied Universal in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol to protect clients across government facilities. Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government human services location while following security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity; report suspicious activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, contacting emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear reports and daily logs documenting patrols and incidents.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government human services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, staff, and community members with professionalism. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government human services location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site representatives when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
