Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Awareness in Riverside, CA. You will serve and safeguard clients across government locations, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, observe and report activity, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour. Schedule includes daytime shifts from Tue to Sat.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, inquiries, and critical situations calmly and professionally; notify appropriate personnel and public agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials when required, and direct visitors per site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations in required reports promptly and accurately.

What You'll Do:

• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
