Allied Universal in San Diego is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Construction Site to help protect clients across industries, starting with a financial institution site. You will monitor, patrol, and maintain a visible presence while following site-specific policies and procedures.

This role offers flexible evening schedules, with opportunities to learn new roles through our Claim a Shift platform and to develop customer-service focused security skills in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility and surrounding areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity per site procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain professional communications, and support a professional environment for all individuals at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
