• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Condominium Complexin San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a residential location, you will welcome residents and guests, manage access, monitor security-related systems, and respond to alarms or concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to maintain a secure, welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a residential community front desk.
• Monitor access to the property by greeting visitors, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor and vendor logs.
• Receive and route telephone calls, deliveries, and resident inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
• Observe lobby activity and access points, report unusual activity or maintenance concerns, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
