Job summary

Allied Universal in Tempe, AZ is hiring a Security Officer - Concierge to protect patients, visitors and staff at a healthcare location. You will deliver exceptional customer service, maintain a visible security presence, and follow site protocols to deter incidents and respond calmly to emergencies.

The role is full-time, daytime shifts, with pay rate of $20.00 per hour. A background check and drug screen are required, and CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, a background check and drug screen will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify that visitors, contractors, and deliveries follow established entry and identification procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

As a Security Officer - Conciergein Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
