Allied Universal in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Overnight Patrol. You will monitor healthcare facilities, deter incidents, control access, and provide courteous customer service to patients and staff.

The role offers flexible scheduling with overnight shifts and learning opportunities through our Claim a Shift platform. Minimum requirements include 6 months security experience, a high school diploma, and background check; CPR/First Aid are preferred.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining patient and facility privacy.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
