As a Security Officer Communications Control Room in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will coordinate communications, monitor access activity, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. You will help maintain a welcoming environment through clear communication and exceptional customer service while working collaboratively with onsite teams. Pay Rate: $18.57 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor and coordinate dispatch communications for security-related personnel, service requests, alarms, access concerns, and emergency response activities.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and relay incident information in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift communications using required systems and reporting tools.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business and perimeter, and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
