Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Patrol Services in Allen, TX. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct patrols, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service in a technology-focused location serving Tech/Media/Telecom sectors.

The role is full-time with a schedule covering multiple evening shifts. You will support daily operations with integrity and a people-first approach while maintaining a welcoming

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check as per law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document details and communicate with contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry points and verify credentials; report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Complete reports and assist with security-related requests from clients, employees, and guests.

$22.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions in a technology-focused location.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, or policy violations in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support day-to-day operations by completing reports, maintaining awareness of assigned areas, and assisting with security-related requests from clients, employees, and/or guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
