Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or vendors at a front desk within a technology/media/telecom environment.
• Monitor facility access by verifying visitor credentials and issuing temporary access.
• Answer calls, receive deliveries, manage mail notifications, and assist with general inquiries.
• Monitor cameras, access-control, alarms, and other security systems from the front desk.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception Operations in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will use communication and technology tools to support a professional, secure environment while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or vendors at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary access credentials as authorized, and directing guests to appropriate contacts or locations.
• Answer incoming calls, receive deliveries, manage package or mail notifications, and provide professional assistance with general site inquiries.
• Monitor cameras, access-control systems, alarms, and other security-related equipment from the front desk, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and supporting emergency response activities when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
